Scottie Davis has been a resident of China Grove her entire life.  She is married to Ron Davis and has twin sons, Graham & Greyson.   Before opening Encore on Main, Scottie served as Instructor/Associate Director for the Center Stage Dance Company for 22 years.  Scottie started out as a Company Dancer, then Treasurer then President with the Chamber Ballet theatre.

She is a member of the China Grove Beautification Committee.  This organization strives to make China Grove a more beautiful place to live, as well as shop.

Additionally, Scottie is a proud member of the China Grove Board of Trade and Rowan County Chamber of Commerce.

Your assurance of professionalism... N.A.R.T.S.  Proud member since before Encore On Main opened their doors. Scottie enjoys attending conference meetings and learning new ways to improve Encore on Main.

Scotties hobbies include traveling to NYC to find new treasures and gifts for the store. Traveling to Elton John concerts and collecting anything and everything Elton John. 

Scottie says.  "Thanks to my mom for inspiration and believing in me.  Thanks to my family for doing without me so many times, you have to be very understanding!"

Alex Abernathy Alex Abernathy was born in Kannapolis and has been a China Grove resident since age ten. Alex attended South Rowan High School where she was very active in all fazes of school life.

Alex matriculated to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after graduation in 2004. She graduated from Carolina in May of 2008 with a BA in Economics and began working at Encore in June of 2008.

In addition to her work at Encore, Alex is employed by the Kannapolis City Schools as a teaching assistant. You may also catch her sometimes at the Stag N Doe on a Friday or Saturday night working as a waitress.
Alex lives with her Westie named Sophie and she looks forward to serving you
with any of your shopping needs when you visit Encore.
